American Poet Al Hellus 1953

Al Hellus was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on September 11, 1953 to Donald and Beverly Hellus. Al passed on November 14, 2008, of complications from heart disease.

Al went on to start The Al Hellus & the Plastic Haiku Band which performs poetry as well as jazz and blues, which released an album titled Raw Haiku.
